The Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Foundation for the Arts
was established by Win Schubert in tribute to her close friend, the late Josephine Ulrick who was also the Curator and Co-Director of Art Galleries Schubert.

Josephine sadly passed away in January 1997.  Her three great loves were art, literature and photography.  The Foundation has the following purposes:

To promote excellence in achievement in the creative arts of poetry, photography and painting, and to promote and further the interest of the general community in these arts by the establishment of the following prizes:

The Josephine Ulrick & Win Schubert Foundation for the Arts Photography Award - Annual prize of $10,000

The Josephine Ulrick Poetry Prize - Annual prize of $10,000

The Josephine Ulrick Literature Prize - Annual prize of $10,000

Gold Coast International Ceramic Art Award - Acquisitive Award of $5,000

(The prizes are subject to increase)

The prizes are open to all residents in Australia

Each prize is promoted and awarded through an Administrator appointed by the Trust
